A researcher needs to conduct a high-throughput computing project using resources from multiple communities so the project can be completed as quickly as possible. The project consists of a set of loosely coupled application runs.

While the resources of a community like XSEDE or PRACE are significant, some research projects can be completed faster using resources from multiple communities, even if the administrative hurdles are taken into account.
