CB-02: Share the public research computing “environment” with campus resources

Executive Summary:

A campus IT administrator needs to reuse documentation and tools provided by other members of the public research computing community in his/her campus environment to reduce local costs and to smooth the path to public research computing for campus researchers.

User Importance Summary:

XSEDE's campus bridging initiative is aimed at making it easier for researchers to access community services from their campuses, and easier for campus IT administrators to offer their services to other community users.

Target Communities and Sizes:

IT administrators at campuses with researchers who might use community services - (100 < N < 1,000) Researchers who might use community services - (10,000 < N < 100,000)
