The Community Software Repository (CSR) enables software providers and operators to advertise about the software they make available to the community, which in turn enables the community to discover available software. With the expansion of the CSR to include software supported by XSEDE, Science Gateways, campuses, and other organizations it has become important to identify who to contact for support of discovered software.
To address this need the CSR now includes a directory of software support contacts, and the ability for software providers and operators to associate their software support contact information (web site, e-mail, and/or a phone number) with each software component they advertise.
The directory of registered Software Support Contacts is available at: https://info.xsede.org/wh1/xcsr-db/v1/supportcontacts/. To register new Software Support Contacts, software providers and operators should e-mail email@example.com using the subject "Please register a new Software Support Contact in the CSR".
