Description |
Several use cases require a workflow execution service that XSEDE users can use (without installing or configuring on their own) to execute a set of tasks on one or more resources according to a workflow specification (essentially, a high-level plan of how the tasks need to be done). XSEDE does not currently offer such a service for general use. Note: For several of these use cases, it is sufficient for the workflow service to be able to execute tasks on XSEDE L1 resources. However, at least one (CB-05) requires a workflow service that can execute tasks on L2 and L3 resources as well. |
