 Description

Use case CB-10 calls for continuous synchronization of data between copies on campus servers and copies on XSEDE storage servers.  XSEDE does not provide a service that maintains continuous synchronization between data transfer endpoints.

XSEDE's Managed Data Transfer service does offer one-time synchronization between data transfer endpoints. This feature could be used by a user-supplied application to provide continuous synchronization between campus and XSEDE data transfer endpoints, but the user would be responsible for obtaining the application, configuring it to use XSEDE's managed data transfer service, and maintaining its continuous operation.
