XCI-208 contained a couple of suggestions regarding future documentation changes. (As well as a couple of documentation/process bugs that were fixed). The doc suggestions are good, but were lower priority for IPF release, and thus are now memorialized here:
It is mentioned in the tar.gz installation section that Python virtualenv can be used. It would be helpful to provide details on how to do a complete IPF installation into a Python virtualenv.
The section on configuring service files seems to be written for people who are already familiar with it. I find the similar section in the gsissh installation instructions easier to understand as a novice.
