Software Available on HPC Systems
I've been reviewing the CSR with a focus on the user's view. At OSC we have both an inventory and a webpage per package for the software on our systems. My comments below are biased by what we provide.

The News gets a bit buried at the bottom of the home page. How about moving it to the top and just have the last 3 stories to save space?
The Search interface element on the home page behaves oddly.
In general, I come away from this page thinking, "Where's the beef?" There's no software on the "Available Software" page! Shouldn't there be TONS of information here? Documentation, downloads, tips, guides, examples, etc? Stats on how much software is recorded here?
Like the Community Needs page, this one need a brief explanation of what it is, who it's for, and what one can/should do here. Once those questions are answered, I have a feeling it'll become clear that this page has too much on it and should actually be split into two or more separate pages.
The Community Needs page seems to have the right stuff on it, but it's heavy on terminology and light on explanation.
The term "life cycle" shouldn't be hyphenated. This should be fixed in the main menu and anywhere else it appears on the site.
On the portal home page, there is a LEARN MORE link under "Accelerating discovery through software & services." In fact, the whole area seems to be a link.
When I click "Products" in the main menu, I get a landing page that lists all of the products, from which I can navigate to whichever one I like. This make sense.
In the Products section (and Products menu), it would be good to provide some context for the Discussions Forums (purpose, who are they for, how are they created, etc.) instead of just a directory of all the existing forums. My first question when I get here is, "Cool!
